The Board of Directors of PostgreSQL Europe (the organisers of PostgreSQL Conference Europe) and the Code of Conduct Committee for the event, voted unanimously to eject a participant on Thursday 27th October for repeatedly and knowingly violating the code of conduct that is in place to protect the wellbeing and privacy of all attendees and staff.
We are deeply saddened that this was necessary, however the code of conduct is in place to ensure PostgreSQL Conference Europe is a safe and enjoyable event for all attendees and we will not tolerate harrassment and other behaviour from individuals that may cause others distress or upset.
The Code of Conduct for the conference can be found at https://2022.pgconf.eu/code-of-conduct/, which includes contact details which can be used to report any inappropriate behaviour or to request help.
