Since studying business informatics, my focus has been on databases. As part of my work as a platform engineer at Swiss Federal Railways, I was involved in setting up database services for the company based on the company's principles (multi-cloud, no vendor lock, as independent as possible) in the area of relational and NoSQL databases
In October 2022, I switched to CYBERTEC and focused exclusively on PostgreSQL.
Since April 2023, I have been responsible for both the consulting team and the company's software development.
In terms of topics, I focus on architecture planning, the development and operation of PostgreSQL services, as well as the automation of these based on VMs or container environments or orchestration.
