Nikita Shamgunov

Nikita is the CEO of Neon. He is passionate about deep tech, data infrastructure, and system software.
Prior to Neon, Nikita co-founded SingleStore and served as CTO and then CEO, successfully scaling the company to over 40M in ARR and near profitability. He also worked on data infrastructure at Facebook and before that, was a systems software engineer at Microsoft SQL Server for six years.
Nikita is also a Partner at Khosla Ventures. He graduated from St. Petersburg ITMO University in Russia with a PhD.
