Utku is the Director for Europe & Turkey for Citus Engineering at Microsoft.
Utku has 17 years of experience driving complex enterprise software, IT, and database initiatives at large enterprises and at different startups—he earned a master’s in Business Administration from London Business School and a masters degree in Engineering from Cornell University.
Utku works closely with the engineering teams that build the Citus Postgres extension which brings scale-out capabilities to Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
Utku's European team at Microsoft is active in the Postgres community, sharing expertise and contributing key components and extensions.
