Working as PostgreSQL DBA, it's often required to work with PostgreSQL activity stats. Unfortunately, PostgreSQL doesn't provide good builtin admin tools for Postgres stats and long time I looked for handy and convenient tool, I tried many existing tools and utils, but I didn't satisfied at all. And thus, I tried to create yet another tool for working with stats and tried to realize all my ideas about "perfect postgres admin tool". So, let me introduce pgCenter. Main goal is work with stats, but also I've added many other features, which simplify PostgreSQL management. It has rich set of features, which make every day routine management easier. In this talk, I will tell about practical receips and how pgCenter helps to manage PostgreSQL and performs troubleshoot. This talk will be useful for PostgreSQL DBA (of course), system administrators and software developers who have to use PostgreSQL in their projects.
