High Availability is such a strong phrase, and is sometimes attributed to systems where it doesn’t comply. This talk is aimed for database administrators, system administrators and system architects. We will go through what High Availability means for different business and how to get to the amount of 9s wanted. As we go through all the issues involved we will see tools which will make our work easier, and will see where and how it can all fail.
