Craig Ringer

I'm a consultant for 2ndQuadrant.com. I'm currently working on logical replication, including pglogical and the BDR project to add latency-and-paritition-tolerant multi-master replication for PostgreSQL.

I'm interested in usability, new user experience, documentation and in identifying real world problems faced by users. I believe that to grow even stronger and healthier we as a community need to help PostgreSQL approachable and usable as well as powerful and reliable. We need to be aware of the whole ecosystem not just the core server.

I'm a Stack Overflow enthusiast and believe that one of the best ways to build my own skills is by teaching others.
