A PostgreSQL hacker who has been working in various parts of PostgreSQL and has been investigating and working on new features and capabilities. He is a co-author of Ordered Set Aggregates and Grouping Sets features. He has also worked on experimental features like hash join optimisation, pre sorted data optimisation for ORDER BY, backend optimisation for OLAP style workloads. He is a committer for Apache Apex, a realtime data processing engine. He is PPMC member and committer for Apache HAWQ and Apache MADLib. He is the PPMC Chair for Apache Concerted.
