Julien is a PostgreSQL Major Contributor. He has been working with PostgreSQL since verson 8.3, as a developer and a DBA. He's also the author of other open source projects such as PoWA (real-time tuning) and HypoPG (hypothetical indexes).
He’s also a former -treasurer of the PostgreSQL Europe association.
