EnterpriseDB has been a core contributor to Postgres for two decades—and our commitment continues. As the database landscape evolves, traditional OLTP Postgres alone isn’t enough. Developers and enterprises need a database that can natively support AI-driven workloads, vector search, and real-time analytics. To address this, EnterpriseDB has built EDB Postgres AI, integrating pgvector for high-performance similarity search, Lakehouse capabilities for hybrid transactional and analytical workloads, and a built-in library of 20+ AI models. These models provide the foundation for building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, automating critical steps like document ingestion, dimensional indexing, and vector storage—without leaving Postgres.
