Marco Slot

Marco Slot is a Software Imagineer at Crunchy Data working on making PostgreSQL a fast analytical database system. Prior to Crunchy Data, he worked as the architect of Citus, first at Citus Data and later at Microsoft. Apart from Citus, he developed several other PostgreSQL extensions, including pg_cron. Marco was also an early engineer on Amazon CloudFront and Route 53, and did a PhD in cooperative self-driving cars at Trinity College Dublin.
